I joined a couple of architects to build this wall of interactions for Android’s booth at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. They had just launched the Material design system and wanted to emphasize the physicality it embodied, so we made a zoo of tactile and digital experiences.

From an undulating rectangle of fur to an embedded rotary phone that would call you, from touchscreen widgets to strange textures, we built it all.

Creating this polished interaction in only two weeks, then crating and shipping it to Barcelona and flying over to receive and install it was an incredible process.
